About the Author

Born in Sweden, raised in Finland, I’ve wandered the corners of the world for two decades. I’m a life-experience junkie, writing sci-fi stories about unlikely heroes in dystopian and post-apocalyptic settings.

My restless feet have taken me all over Finland, the United Kingdom, Spain, and North America. Untouched nature, society’s marginalized misfits, made-up song lyrics, bad puns, and bourbon ice cream — these things are what make my simulation go round, and they play a substantial role in my storytelling as well.

Best things in life: sauna, salty licorice, second-hand clothes, and the sound of bunny sneezes.

Dislikes: clowns, the Muppets, Moomin trolls, porcelain dolls, human-size mascots, and celery.

My writing is inspired by masters such as Margaret Atwood, Kazuo Ishiguro, Blake Crouch, and Hugh Howey.
